Roving performances are a responsive and interactive way to add something spectacular to your event. The dancers can move through the event space, or be positioned as a static feature.

Performances consist of two twenty-minute 'sets' per hour booked.
A minimum of two performers are required per act booked.

And All That Jazz

These flappers really know how to party!

Their performances begin with the reserved elegance you'd expect from such splendid visions, but, gradually, their movements become more elaborate and excited as the Charleston really kicks off.

Diamonds...

As we all know, diamonds are a girl's best friend...

Watch in wonderment as these gils chase their sparkling booty all through your event space.

Working from the (in)famous 'diamonds are a girl's best friend' sequence, these dancers will impress with their sexy choreography.

Gung-Ho Geisha

Tracking their influences to a wide variety of Asian physical forms, this act is a fusion of some stunning choreographic figures.

Beginning in the slow elegance of tai chi, each set concludes in a frenzy of martial arts-inspired physical virtuosity.

Jesters

High-kicks, jumps and absolute energy characterise this act: these jesters are a Venetian Carnivale gone mad.

Beautifully costumed in vibrant colours, their choreography is interactive and vivacious. These roving jesters will bring energy and excitement to your event.

Metamorphosis

Imagine the moment a caterpillar, familiar with feet and legs and twigs, first encounters its wings and realises it is a thing of beauty.

Victorian College of the Arts Dance School students and graduates have choreographed a slow-moving interaction between their own bodies and the 'wings' of their costumes, producing a mesmirising act that creates a sense of wonder in all who behold them.

Naughty Reds

These little red riding hoods have reached their troubled teenage years!

No longer satisfied with taking a picnic basket to Grandma, they're much more interested in getting up to mischief on the way.

This quirky act will have you belly laughing in no time, as they fight for attention and begin to fight each other.

Petulance has never been so entertaining!

Pink Bits

There is something not quite right about these ladies!

Their flourescent pink skin gives their coquettish charms a slightly sinister edge as they cut swathes through your event.

These dainty ladies, with their delicate choreography, are hiding something... who knows what?

White Travellers

These strange beings are lost. All they know is that the creatures surrounding them are not from their home.

Caught between curiosity and fear, they gracefully dance through any space, drawing attention to the strangeness and wonder in even the most banal.

Working Blind

This act was originally commissioned as a full dance work, and has been re-structured as an interactive and responsive roving piece.

The act explores ideas about how bodies can be manipulated to work together in strange and wonderful ways.

Watch the contours on these bodies shift as the dancers create a stunning effect.

Standstill Theatre

StandStill Theatre is the ongoing creation of it’s main performer, Blake Barratt. Spinning a web of no movement, slow movement, mime and highly imaginative role-plays, StandStill Theatre draws it’s audiences into its visual world. Using an array of different characters like the bronze realistic statue of Matthew Flinders, or the archetypal demon figure, StandStill Theatre intermixes dynamic inner energy and startling stillness to breathe life into its creations
