Hotel rooms are generally an expensive mode of accommodation but a good short-term option. Standard hotel rooms come fully furnished, although facilities vary. Some budget hotels that are close to the VCA are:

Hostels are popular with first year students who prefer accommodation similar to their home environment but with the company of other young people. Hostel or Rooming House accommodation can provide single and shared rooms, usually furnished with a communal living space. The weekly rate sometimes covers an evening meal and other bills.
