Business Partnerships Coordinator

Elizabeth is the Business Partnerships Coordinator and is responsible for developing the operations and business management of the Centre. This includes building strong relationships with external organisations and individuals in support of the work of the Centre.

Elizabeth has extensive experience in both academic and professional staff roles within Universities and brings to this position relevant work and volunteer experience from the private sector, government agencies and not-for-profit groups. In the higher education sector she has worked as an academic in the fields of Organisation Behaviour and Human Resource Management and as a Careers Counsellor in Student Services. More recently she worked with the Australia Business Arts Foundation where she promoted business engagement with the arts and worked closely with a wide range of arts and cultural organisations. She also led the development of the National Volunteering program.

She has broad ranging academic qualifications including a Masters in Education in which she studied the role of local culture in cross-cultural business relations beween Australians and Indonesians. More recently she completed the Cross Sector Partnerships Graduate Certificate with the Cambridge Programme for Industry. Her personal academic interest in the arts includes the study of European Art History and Romanesque architecture and sculpture.

She is passionate about the arts and the role of artists in creating strong, vibrant and life enhancing communities. She is also committed to facilitating partnerships between organisations so that together people can achieve social change that matters.
