Glenn Riddle (MMus, FTCL, LMusA. Grad.Dip.Arts,) studied at the University of Melbourne, Royal College of Music, London, and Hochschule für Musik, Vienna.

Lecturer in Music at the VCA, Glenn co-ordinates the Foundation Program (Music Performance). One of Australia's leading pedagogues, his students have been major prize-winners in the Lev Vlassenko Competition, Kawai Australasian Concerto Competition, Sydney Eisteddfod Overseas Piano Scholarship, MBS National Young Performer of the Year Award, Australian National Piano Award and elsewhere.

Glenn has examined and lectured extensively throughout South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Publications include editing eight volumes of piano music for the AMEB (Series 15) as well as co-editing four volumes of Baroque Keyboard works.

Glenn continues to perform extensively, has appeared at numerous festivals both locally and internationally, and worked extensively with Chamber Made Opera. Recent appearances include concertos by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Gershwin and Williamson.
Glenn has recorded on numerous occasions for the ABC, (including piano soloist in the Melbourne Symphony’s recording of Grainger’s The Warriors). He also recorded twenty-seven 20C piano works for the AMEB’s Series 14 CD’s.

Glenn is currently Artistic Director/Conductor of the Grainger Ensemble, Melbourne’s newest orchestra, dedicated to giving young soloists the opportunity to perform concertos while also premiering works by young Melbourne composers.
