Anna Connolly has been a Principal with Opera Queensland, and a guest artist with all Australian Symphony Orchestras.
Since 2000, she has taught 44 finalists and 18 competition winners of the Vienna State Opera Award, Herald Sun Aria, Covent Garden Scholarship, Australian Singing Competition, Metropolitan Opera Award, and the German Operatic Award. Her students are Principal Artists for OA, Vienna Staatsoper, ENO, Metropolitan Opera and San Francisco Opera.
Anna has also worked as Laboratory Assistant in Prosection for the Anatomy Department of LaTrobe University, and as Anatomy Tutor for the National Voice Centre.
A regular presenter for the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing, in 2002 she presented Head and Neck Anatomy for Singers and Teachers.
A co-researcher for Vocal Quality, Projection and Perception at Sydney University in 2003, she has also co-authored Acoustics and Perception of Vocal Control in Operatic Sopranos following Anaesthetic and Endoscopy 6th Voice Symposium of Australia.
