Leisa Shelton trained in Paris 1983-89, returning to Australia to join the Meryl Tankard Company touring nationally and internationally 1990-93.  Leisa has taught nationally and internationally and was Head of Physical Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, School of Drama 1998–2003, where her directing collaboration with Richard Murphet began. This collaboration continues in 2003 with a forthcoming project entitled An Inhabited Woman.
