He studied Philosophy at The Albertus Magnus University Cologne and The Gutenberg University Mainz/Germany, and Fine Arts at The Academy Of Fine Arts Mainz / Germany , The Academy of Fine Arts Prague / Czech Republic and the Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts, Dance & Communication, Hyderabad / India .

Boris has exhibited since 1991 and his work has been shown in over 15 solo and selected group exhibitions: from a range of seven German Kunstvereine to the European Media Art Festival, Osnabrück; the Videonale Bonn, the International Short Film Festival, Hamburg and the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn.

In addition his work has shown in the internationally renowned Wyspa Gallery in Gdansk / Poland , The House of Art, Brno / Czech Republic and the Australian Centre for Photography, Sydney / Australia .
