Berlin-based artist Boris Eldagsen was born 1970 in Pirmasens, Germany. He studied philosophy at the Albertus Magnus University Cologne and the Gutenberg University Mainz / Germany, and Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Mainz / Germany,  the Academy of Fine Arts Prague / Czech Republic and the Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts, Dance & Communication, Hyderabad, /India .

Boris has exhibited since 1991 and his work has been shown in over thirty solo and selected group exhibitions: from a range of seven German Kunstvereine to the European Media Art Festival Osnabrück, the Videonale Bonn, the International Short Film Festival Hamburg and the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn.
In addition, his work has shown in the internationally renowned Deichtorhallen Hamburg, Biennale for Electronic Arts Perth, Biennale d´Art Contemporain Le Havre, Fusion 5 Festival Cannes, Arts Festival Edinburgh,  Wyspa Gallery Gdansk , The House of Art Brno,  PICA and the Australian Centre for Photography Sydney.

Boris works as a multi-media consultant and an arts lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts, Mainz, Germany.
