Professor Ian Lang

Professor Ian Lang is a television documentary producer and graduate of Swinburne film school in 1980. He has received many international awards for films including, Fahimeh's Story (2004), Millennium Shift (SBS, 1997), Grandfathers and Revolutions (SBS, 1999), and The Art of Place (SBS, 1996). Ian was previously founding Head of the Griffith Film School at Griffith University in Queensland. He has also served as Postgraduate Convenor at Swinburne University of Technology, and Senior Lecturer at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He completed a PhD by Publications with Griffith in 2003, and is committed to the development of a vibrant independent filmmaking industry in Australia.
