Jane Gilmour is a Research Associate in the Centre for Cultural Partnerships. She has a PhD in French Literature from the University of Paris (Sorbonne) and has worked in arts and cultural policy and management as well as in environment and heritage. Her key research interests are in understanding the processes of artistic engagement and creativity that generate positive individual and community outcomes. She is currently working on a research project to document and evaluate the Horn of Africa partnership.
In addition to her work with the Centre for Cultural Partnerships, Jane is a co-researcher on a project funded by The Melbourne University, the Australian Centre of Excellence for Risk Analysis (ACERA), which focusses on improving risk analysis.
