Christopher Koller studied art at Prahran College in Melbourne and completed Master of Fine Art at RMIT in 2002. He has held solo exhibitions of his photographs and installation work in various Australian cities, in Japan, England and Mexico. His work has been included in group exhibitions in France and throughout Australia. The Visual Arts Board of the Australia Council has awarded Christopher Koller a travel grant and a half-standard grant. He has also been accepted for three Visual Arts Board residencies, in Los Angeles in 1994, in Milan in 1997-98 and Tokyo in 2003. Koller's work is represented in the collections of the Australian National Gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Waverley Council, Griffith University, the Bibliotheque Nationale, France and the Sata Corporation, Japan. He has undertaken major commissions for the Australian Ballet and for feature film production Georgia. Christopher Koller has been the Senior Lecturer in Photography at the VCA School of Art since 1992.
