As a lecturer in the production area Mark's eclectic background is reflected in a diversity of interests including visual theatre, scuba diving and circus. Having built houses, traveled with traditional circuses as a photographer, and studied spaghetti westerns, Mark came to the VCA from management positions at St Martin's Youth Arts Centre and Victoria College, Rusden.

Mark's workshop title covers a multitude of skills and techniques with cross overs as diverse as engineering and soft sculpture, puppetry and thermo plastics, painting and plumbing. As a result, practitioners in this area are required to be multi skilled.

Philosophically, Mark aims to provide students with a resource and sounding board, that facilitates the development of informed, independent, creatively assertive professionals able to develop careers in the broad Arts Industry.
