Copyright to all programs made in Award Courses at the Faculty of the VCA & Music, Film and Television, remain the property of the Faculty whilst students retain the copyright in scripts which they write as part of the course. Any revenue generated from the distribution of student programs is placed in the "Promotions Fund" to assist students with costs such as those related to promoting their student work at festivals etc. Students retain all prize monies, such as that won at film festivals.

Non Award (Short and Foundations) course particpants retain copyright on their projects.
