CREWING - UNDERGRADUATE & GRADUATE PROGRAMS
VCA Film and Television hosts an evening where people who are interested in crewing on student productions can meet with 3rd Year, Honours, Graduate Diploma and Masters student directors.
The students pitch their ideas and indicate crewing role vacancies. Crews for the productions are comprised of a mixture of professionals, students and other willing people, fulfilling a variety of roles.
The productions are captured on 16mm, 35mm, Betacam or DVCPro. If you or anyone you know, are interested in assisting with the productions, this is the easiest way of canvassing the forthcoming productions. Come along, bring some business cards or your contact details and meet the students.
When: 6:30pm Wed 7th May 2008
Where: Federation Hall (next door to the VCA Film and Television department - entry via Grant St)

CREWING - FOUNDATIONS
Pitch Night: THURSDAY 9TH OCTOBER 2008
Where: Cinema 2, Grant St, Southbank.
Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Our Foundations students have been training all year and are ready to unleash their accumulated knowledge on their major productions. Each student will do a short pitch of their project allowing potential crew to choose a story (and date) that they may wish to be a part of creating. Filming commences late October and continues through until early December - all films are shot over a two day period.
Should you wish to join us for pitch night and volunteer to crew on one or more of the Foundations students films please contact the course coordinator directly to secure your seat:
