VISITING
The VCAM campus is located just south of the central city area and is amongst the heart of Melbourne’s lively Arts & Leisure Precinct. It is easily accessible by public transport, with a variety of options available to students including a constant flow of trams, trains, buses and taxis that operate throughout Melbourne. The Southbank campus is easily accessible via most modes of transport. It is situated close to the central city train stations - Flinders Street & Southern Cross, and is on St Kilda Road, which is serviced by both trams, taxis and buses that are part of a wide network of destinations.
Melbourne Airport is located approximately 25 km from the central business district and the Southbank campus; access to and from the airport takes approximately 25 minutes (by taxi) via the Tullamarine Freeway. Skybus offers a shuttle bus service that operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week, transporting passengers from the airport to the city area and city hotels.

Public Transport in Metropolitan Melbourne
There is a variety of car parking options available in the vicinity of the Southbank campus. There is parking available at the Victorian Arts Centre and Crown Casino. For a short stay, two-hour and four-hour parks can be found next to the VCAM along St Kilda Road or in Grant Street, Sturt Street and surrounds.
Note that a parking permit is required to park a motor vehicle on campus grounds. Parking infringements may be enforced for illegal parking. Click here for further details.
Drivers with a disability should make prior arrangements to enable them to park in a designated parking space.
The Southbank campus offers group tours for senior secondary students (year 10-12), TAFE groups, interested associations, interstate and international students. Tours are by prior arrangement. Victorian students are encouraged to come to Open Day as we cannot accommodate tours for individual local students. Local students are welcome to visit the Southbank campus to talk to a member of the Student & Academic Services team about course enquiries and student services.

Short Stay Apartments
