A Subject-Author Guide to Music Periodical Literature. Coverage begins at 1979 to the present

RILM online - (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) provides citations with abstracts and selected FULLTEXT articles. Includes journal articles, books, dissertations, Festschriften, films and videos, audio recordings, conference proceedings, reviews, etc. Coverage is from 1967 -

RIPM online - (Répertoire International de la Presse Musicale) an index to 19th- and early 20th-century international music periodicals providing a bibliography of articles on the history of music and musical life, including contemporary writings about composers, performers, critics, compositions, institutions, instruments, etc.

CAIRSS for Music - bibliographic database of music research literature in music education, music psychology, music therapy, and music medicine. CAIRSS is updated infrequently.

APAFT - provides internet access to the scanned images of journal articles from published material on the social sciences and humanities.

Expanded Academic ASAP - indexes across all academic disciplines. Access to abstracts and some full text articles.

ERIC - Education database. Full text access dependant upon contributor permission. Covers articles in Education including the arts.

JSTOR - is an archive of scholarly journals covering a wide variety of disciplines. JSTOR does not include articles published in recent years, but may provide a link to them.

MLA International Bibliography - a classified listing and subject index of scholarly books and articles on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics since 1926.

Project Muse - is an online resource which indexes a range of full-text scholarly journals. Subjects covered include the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
