Victorian College of the Arts
Creative Arts Week
Contents

Creative Arts Week offers young people the chance to experience life as an artist for a week by spending a day at the schools of Art, Drama, Film and Television, Music, and this year for the first time Puppetry. The VCA has designed the Creative Kids Arts Week for those young people 12 to 16 years who are very interested about art, but are not sure which discipline to follow, as well as those who would just like to give the arts a go!

We are in a position to understand the needs of artistic and creative young people, some of whom may experience feelings of being outside of the norm demanded by their peers. We offer these students a place to belong. We encourage all students to be individuals and give them opportunities to see that what they want to do and what they are good at is part of a larger picture, in a creative and supportive environment.

The next Creative Arts Week will run June 30th to July 4th 2008.

Brochure and application form will be available from 1st May 2008.

The price of the week is $420 (inc. lunch each day).
