COST: $396 for the whole program or $165 per day
A professional development program created with secondary school teachers in mind, but open to all teachers, to work with leading practitioners in the visual and performing arts.
The VCA’s aim is to have teachers experience the latest trends in contemporary arts practice in order to strengthen and inspire their foundation in the arts as practitioners, and through this, deepen their commitment to contemporary arts education and debate.
The program will be a combination of discipline specific, practical and experiential sessions with the VCA’s leading academics and keynote speakers.
MORNING SESSIONS
Key note speakers each day - Maintaining professional practice, research, collaboration and re-charging and re-defining your personal arts practice.
Discipline specific skills classes – each day a new perspective.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS
Discipline specific, guided Individual practice / devised work,
followed by a tutorial discussion of the outcomes.
