At the heart of Melbourne’s vibrant arts scene, the Victorian College of the Arts develops the talent of our future generations of young artists by giving them the very best contemporary arts education characterised by intensive, specialist, studio-based training for outstanding and emerging artists.

The VCA Foundation aims to underpin our growth and ensure that we can continue to deliver the highest arts educational standards. We seek to give our students the best education by providing them with every opportunity to develop their talent and give them access to the latest facilities, technologies and teachings within the creative domain. This can only be achieved through the generous support of individuals, alumni and the philanthropic sector.

The VCA Foundation was established in 2011 through substantial government contributions from the Federal Government’s Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and the Victorian Government though Arts Victoria. The Foundation is tasked with building the corpus to $10 million by 2017 to provide a sustainable foundation for projects and activities at the VCA.
