Foundation Program (Music Performance)

The Foundation Program (Music Performance) is a one-year award program which recognises and addresses the need to provide a course of study for those whose performance skills show potential but who have not attained the required standard in practical and/or theoretical studies for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Contemporary Music) or Bachelor of Music. Please note: Foundation Program (Music Performance) is not an undergraduate degree.

Three streams are offered: Repertoire, Improvisation and Practical Composition.

See Foundation Program (Music Performance) for more information.

*Completion of this course does not guarantee a place in either the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Contemporary Music) or the Bachelor of Music.
