Indigenous Australian Applicants
For assistance with the application, Indigenous applicants should contact the VCA Indigenous Students Programs Officer at the VCA Wilin Centre.
All applicants will be considered on an individual basis and will be required to attend an interview or audition with a panel including an Indigenous member. The Indigenous Students Programs Officer will be involved in this interview/audition, and will provide assistance and support to prospective Indigenous students throughout the process.

Applicants will have completed a post-secondary arts/cultural course of study and have at least three years work experience in arts and/or community based cultural work, preferably Indigenous arts. In the case of high practical aptitude for the area of Indigenous Arts Management, applicants who have not completed formal educational requirements but who have substantial relevant experience of five years or more may be admitted at the discretion of the Selection Committee. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to the traditional and/or contemporary Indigenous arts, and their production, protection and marketing.
The Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Arts Management is delivered in partnership by the Wilin Centre and VCA Production.
Applications can be made directly to the VCA. Please ensure that you download both the application form and interview requirements form. Please complete the checklist on the application form to ensure that your application is complete. All applicants are granted an interview. Interstate applicants are encouraged to travel to Melbourne, however telephone interviews can be organised.

Credit may be granted toward the course for studies or work completed prior to admission, provided that the work for which credit is granted is regarded as being of satisfactory standard and relevant to the requirements of the course. Application for credit should be made at the time of application and discussed at the interview. Credit will not be granted for final year subjects.
